The competition is addressed to young European Union
citizens and to young singers citizens of the following countries:
Bulgaria, Rumania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway who on the 1st of
January 2007 are under 30 years of age if sopranos and tenors, and under
32 years of age if mezzosopranos, contraltos, baritones and basses. The
international Jury will be presided over by the famous Hungarian soprano
Eva Marton and will be composed by the famous soprano Raina Kabaivanska,
the tenor Luis Alva, the Director of the Music Academy of the Hermitage
Museum in St. Petersburg M° Sergey Evtushenko, by the musicologist
Giorgio Vidusso, by a representative of the Artistic Direction of Teatro
dell Opera di Roma and by M° Michelangelo Zurletti, musicologist and
Artistic Director of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto. Deadline:
