Students of this studio are taught all skills necessary for a well-rounded
education in music, including theory, sight-reading, musicianship, and
ear-training.
Students are given regular opportunities to perform for their peers and
others, not as an end in itself, but as a means to gain self-confidence in
musical expression. An emphasis is placed on regular practice, realizing
that true musical progress cannot be made without this commitment on the
part of the student.

Combination piano/voice lessons are also available. If your child is 7
years old or younger, an evaluation is necessary to determine if the child
is mature enough to begin learning piano or voice. Piano lessons include
technique, performance, theory, ear training, and song work. Voice lessons
are customized for each student and include vocal exercises and
corrections, song work, performance, health and fitness, breathing and
technique, and exercises to assist with damaged voices if necessary. As an
alternative to private lessons, Music & Movement classes for younger
students provide a wide range of developmental skills mixed with music,
dance & instruments as well as quality time with mom and dad. M&M classes
will become available in January 2012. I teach a wide range of students
