Re: the question about the student who said it had stopped:
I had never even heard of this complaint until this lady told me it had
ceased to happen to her, but the progress she made was towards relaxing a
very tight throat so I think she believed that this had had the effect of
stopping it getting occluded while she was sleeping. This was certainly
tangible in her singing which became less bottled.
