Thanks, Dr. John, for such nice validation!
The way I was diagnosed with tracheitis a few years ago was with a mirror down the gullet, and the ENT saw a bright red trachea. I must have had this over the years many times before this, and no one ever treated me for it until then. Now, I insist on treatment, especially if I see a non-ENT, since I have experienced vocal hemorrhages.
Let me say how much I appreciate having Dr. Messmer participating on our list and dispelling myths, disseminating knowledge and dispensing sane advice. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
