Feeling left out Lloyd? LOL Really, I'm just kidding. However, you are
right, SLS did not invent lip trills, and the reasons behind its purpose (as
you point out, and I have numerous times before) is correct also. While many
teachers use lip trills, the pedagogy in SLS is different from most schools,
especially when it comes to the female voice.

I would imagine that most teachers on this list are very good. The fact they
are on the list says something about them. But you know, and I know, that
the vast majority of voice teachers out there are very ignorant of how to
teach voice. It's sad but it's true, and it is that crop of teachers (who
make up the bulk of the voice teaching population) that SLS takes aim at ...
and rightfully so. We should all be a little more active in weeding out bad
teaching I believe. On the whole, they have no interest in challenging and
examining their beliefs and refining their diagnosing/prescribing techniques.
