Mine pre-date my singing -- I slipped on fruit cocktail syrup at a Serbian wedding (I still remember the sign out front as I was taken out to head to the emergency room -- "Good luck Slavko & Zorka") -- had a complete kneecap reconstruction and wholly inadequate therapy. But I wonder if anything I'm doing physically since then has contributed to my continued knee problems.
I had my knee go out FIVE TIMES over the period of 12/4-1/31 and I've finally decided to take some action - I joined the Y and began a strength training program and my knee has actually stopped feeling like a saucer balancing on top of a baseball bat. Hopefully this will continue - but I really am curious as to what I can change in my stage stance that might keep me from losing this strength...
