I highly recommend the "First" ... uh. Brain freeze.
What are they called -- you know, those books of
lovely, simple songs for beginners, divided by voice
type...
Oh yeah -- "First Book of Soprano Solos" and so on,
for mezzo and tenor and baritone and bass. Also,
Second Book etc. I sang many pieces when I was a
young teenager (Handel's "Bel piacere" still pops into
my mind at random times).
Also, of course, the 24 Italian Songs and Arias.
