What was included in Puccini's trio of one acts? I know Gianni Schichi ( I
know I can't spell) and I think Suor Angelica. What was the third?
Menotti wrote several one acts. The Medium, I think is one act. The
Telephone. I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
In college, we did one called The Power of Xingu, it was for five women. We
also did one called Talk Opera. The premise was that the characters of
Rigoletto had come on a talk show. It was hysterical, the audience really
liked it. I can't remember the composer's names.

Robert Ward wrote some one acts - one called Roman Fever was OK. There's
also one called Sweet Betsy From Pike - again I can't remember the composer.

If you call several publishers, and tell them what you're working with, they
can help you. Maybe you could even do a premiere of a new piece - that
would be cool.
