Now you're thinking outside the box!!

The details of making a living as a singer are not in my field, but I
was wondering if hiring an agent is reasonable in your position. For
about two years I have been taking lessons for improvement purposes
rather than as a new career. My teacher is a mezzo who does some roles
in opera in various venues from time to time. Recently she hired an
agent and she has been getting more auditions and offers. Again, this
is not my area, but she says that an agent finds the auditions
appropriate for your voice.

Just wondering.
