Just an interesting note on this topic:

On Tuesday, January 25 Dr. William Warfield (yes, the great baritone
himself) will
be giving a recital in Chicago in celebration of his eightieth birthday.
The program is mainly an educational event so tickets for students
are $3 but for what may be the last chance to hear this awesome voice
live
it would be worth any amount of money.
Hope you find this interesting, I may be able to get more information if
there is a demand for it, but I just figured I'd throw it out there.
