I have just started to read.......The average age is from 16 to 20 is what I am thinking this group of writers are.........I started singing late in life. I found a teacher that, well , gave me the basics, but after about two years I decided to leave him.......It is very rare thgat people find a teacher whom they stay with forever..............Well I found that person.....He has taken me to heights that I thought I never would reach. When we started together I had to start over and was not allowed to perform for 4 years untill technique and voice were meshed togethr where I did not have to think about these things while performing.......I perform around the country and Around the world....My specialtiy is Cabaret....I sing Opera and Broadway..........I perform 3 One Man Shows and That is what keeps me going..........My point is this............Find a teacher, Do not let that person intimidate you....If you do not feel comfortable with him, how do you think you`ll feel when you are performing..............Do not go the other way and find someone who will yes you all the time just so he or she has a student...........Remembe!!!!!! to sing is a gift....To give it to others is a joy. Make sure you feel that JOY..........Seasons Greetings.......Bobby from Philadelphia............BY THE WAY. I SARTED SINGING AT AGE 35...I AM NOW 51 AND LOVING IT ALL THE WAY...........
