The gentleman (and opera singer - I remember he was featured in the New York City Opera "Paul Bunyan" that was telecast a year and a half ago) who is the director of the Seagle colony used to write on the Vocalist (I assume he's still the director). His name is Darren K. Woods, his e-mail address used to be (and maybe still is) darrenkwoods-at-juno.com, and the web site URL is http://www.seaglecolony.com/ , which seems to still have the 1999 info.
If you search on his name and/or Seagle in the archives, you should turn up a number of things he and others wrote about the institution, which I generally recall were positive.
