I would advise seeing an ENT and having him or her look at your vocal
cords. The internet really is not the place to resolve this kind of issue.
Your vocal cords are strong but they have given you a signal that you need
to take care of them; a specialist who has experience in working with
singers will be able to tell you how to do that.
