Sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I was trying to address a larger issue, and not an uncommon one, about a teacher not taking students because they are not ready for them. I suspect it is a dodge in many cases, in that the teacher who makes such a statement may not have the ability to help such a person. In many ways, it takes much more skill to teach a beginner or repair an instrument than to tweak one, or work on rep, with someone who already sings very well.
