Subject:  Soprano & trumpet repertoire

Hello--I have been lurking for a couple of months and enjoying
the lively discussion about so many different aspects of being a
vocalist.

My husband is a trumpet player (and I'm a soprano with a
comfortable performing range to about high C--higher if
pressed). We have performed the customary "Let the Bright
Seraphim," Scarlatti suite and the Melani "Al'armi pensieri" as
well as some things he has arranged for me to sing with his
brass quintet (worked pretty well). I am desperately seeking
something else for a recital, maybe something more modern, for
soprano & trumpet (small continuo is doable--orchestra isn't). It
could be piccolo trumpet, it could be fluegelhorn--I'd love
something turn-of-the-century American for cornet & voice.

Does anyone have any recommendations or special gems that
we've overlooked? As much as I love the above, I'd like to expand
our horizons a little.

Thank you so much for your help!
