Suki, a camcorder! I have yearned to explore the
world of video-recording. Especially when I'm
involved in a production and want to see what I'm
doing in rehearsals (so I can see what's working and
what I can improve), and also during recitals (did
that facial expression look calm or strangled? was
that gesture too big? do I have any annoying
mannerisms when I get nervous?).

My inhibitions have been preventing me, though. I can
discreetly stick my cheap tape recorder on a seat in
the theater or hall -- but what would
director/audience think to see me setting up a
camcorder and tripod in the back? Especially for
rehearsals...
