Subject:  How does one find a voice teacher? A Joseph Hislop??

Looking for a teacher comfortable with teaching tenors. I want someone with a
proven record of success in professionally placing singers.
If my bluntness offends, I am sorry. I am trying to find a teacher who is as
serious about this as I am (yes I'm looking for a Joseph Hislop). I look at it
like buying a car, if one knows what they want they search for it. Why buy a
pinto, when one could buy a porsche? I don't have time to entertain a number of
teachers who (while having some knowledge of the craft), are not suitable for my
specifics needs. It would be a waste of both our times. I know what I want and I
know it's out there.
Below is a link to 2 songs that are on the upcoming Shadowdance cd. I created
the vocal styles (melodies and harmonies) on the spot in the studio (pro tools
with Greg Frey "Weens'manager" at the helm and a Nueman mic). I have effortless
C#'s, and obviously have some fine motor control skills coupled with a strong
ability to visualize. I've done 9 opera's (workshops some scenes/some full
etc...). I was personally asked by Gabor Carelli to come to Manhattan, and was
accepted by Dan Marek for Mannes (but my fear got the better of me and I didn't
follow through with either...thus enters the bitter taste of regret).
When one loses fear, one finds himself. I've found myself, now I need to find
THE teacher.
