Hi Ian,
I've taken this off-list in case the Yanks get all pissy. You know what they're like.
<< Nothing whatsoever to do with the list, but TOTP's 2 is one of my favourite programmes. I religiously tape it just in case there's any of those tracks on when you think "Ah, that takes me back!" >>
Hee hee. I always seem to be doing something else when it's on, but as I was born towards the end of the 60s, the late 70s/early & mid 80s are "my era" and I enjoy Steve Wright's and the other comments.
<< Anyway, interested to know what else of that ilk amuses you. . . >>
Sheesh. Dunno. Apart from that, what amuses me? Comedy of many types. Not much American (Used to enjoy Cheers, I do find Friends eminently watchable).
Been umming and ah-ing on whether to subscribe to the Artsworld channel (I have Sky Digital at home), having noticed that in the last 3 days I've missed a programme on Puccini Love duets and a full performance of I Paggliacci. Seems to be a lot of non-opera on there, otherwise, I'd probably go for it. Don't suppose you get it?
Cheers,
Nick
