Subject:  REP: recital enders

OK, you repertoire geniuses out there!

I am having a hard time finding things to end a recital with. I am a
lyric soprano, with a comfortable high C# held, E if I don't have to hold
it. :)

My teacher says no arias, but I don't really care what language it is in,
except French (Debussy's Forgotten Arias are taking that slot). It can be
a set, a couple of songs, or even a song from a set. (I am not above
changing the order of a set at this point -- I did it with "I Hate
Music!")

You know, a crowd pleaser, something stirring, something fabulous,
something that makes them stand up and yell at the top of their lungs,
"BRAVA, BRAVA!!" as the last of the chord melts away . . . .

OK, back to reality, you get the idea. :)

Thanks, in advance!!

Regards,
