I hope I've uploaded it properly. That's my former teacher. He's very
much into hard rock, and loves doing that distortion in his voice.
Not that he can't sing another way. He just does it because it's his
favorite way to deliver rock.
His voice is probably not much engineered, since he sounds exactly
the same live, face to face. I could do that distortion once,
accidentally, in class, and, although it sounds like being pressed,
exhausting on the larynx, it's not! It feels very easy, relaxed,a nd
that's why I couldn't procede with it: I was shocked at the
difference between my absolute lack of efforts and the distortion
produced.
