A short notice on the obituary page of today's Times notes that there
will be a memorial service Monday, open to the public, for the
well-known voice coach Beverly Peck Johnson, who died Jan. 20.
Renee Fleming and Anthony Dean Griffey will sing. Pianist Ken Noda will
perform and there will, of course, be spoken tributes from friends and
colleagues.
The service takes place Monday at 5 p.m. at the Juilliard Theater, 155
W. 65 St.
