i am well acquainted with the practice of vowel modulation. i think
the difficulty in using this range is, as you say, i am a low baritone and,
just because i can 'ring and run' the notes it doesn't mean i can sustain
them. i have to confess, i do not like to be limited in any way so, i'm
trying to see how many ranges and styles i can get away with. i'm not
convinced i can't do it, however, i realize it is likely to be found on the
outer limits of my abilities (dammit!). thanks for your response.
