Once I heard a famous voice teacher from Texas tell a student in a lesson he
was using the left vocal cord more than the right cord. What she meant by
that and how she determined such a thing completely confounds me. It is
possible, maybe, that she was trying to rid the student of some asymmetrical
neck tension, but that didn't seem to be the case at the time.

I must say I am completely engrossed by the discussion on the velar port.
