That's the big problem suggestion has: it may mask a problem and make it
rise to the surface in a different and harder-to-assess fashion. Hipnosis is
practiced nowadays with much more care, and certainly avoiding suggestions.
It should be used to facilitate the access to repressions, beliefs, traumas,
etc, not to change them. Affirmations, theoretically saying, are of the same
nature. Theoretically saying again: 'Affirmationists', take care! ;-)
