OK, but can't you see how different they are: 'I have a marvelous
voice',according to what you said, would be a lie in your case ( and in mine
too ). However, 'I have basically a good voice...' is probably true,
otherwise you wouldn't be here ( neither would I ); '...and I am capable of
improving it' is a logical conclusion given the fact that most people who
study singing do it. Regarding 'my voice is improving', it may be something
real ( I hope it is in my case too ), but it's surely something likely to
happen. Can you see how different these 3 affirmations are from the first
one? The second and third ones are probably a fact, the last one is very
likely to be true, but the first one is a lie...or not ( unfortunately, not
in my case! ).

What sets your mind into the proper attitude for working on anything is
regarding that thing as feasible, in this case, unfortunately again, through
hard work only. Regarding that thing as already achieved is, much on the
contrary, a reason why not to bother to achieve it, since you already have
it, or so will you be mislead to think.
