My mother (1st Viola in the Cape Town Orchestra many years ago) remembered
Mimi Coertse, of South African and Viennese fame, asking the Conductor
during a rehearsal:"Can we go back to when I am laid the second time?"
Has anyone sung "what is man, that Thou art Mindful of Him" It ends with
some fun Alleluja's but I'm wondering if it doesn't take too long getting
there?
