there is a lot of really lovely tango music, especially the stuff by
astor piazzolla and gardel/le pera. daniel barenboim did a recording of
tangos called 'tangos among friends'. if you are very classically oriented,
this might be a good one to start with (it's a little anal for my tastes.
it sounds like they needed to have a few pops first). if you are still
connected with a school, the phys. ed. dept. probably offers a half credit
course in ballroom and may even have a tango class.
ballroom is fun and once you've learned a few dances it makes going to
weddings even more fun. and, doing the tango makes you feel so cool.
