do you have a good theory background? if you do, you can develope
better (less sucky) piano skills by sight reading a little each day. what
you would use the theory skills for would be, of course, reading the notes
quickly but also, in reducing what to play down to the neccesary, filling in
the ornamental stuff as your skills improve. it's a little like reverse
'fake' book.
