Subject:  Re: [vocalist-temporary] FW: OFF TOPIC: Search Engines

I'm wading through messages that have piled up for days,
before I sign off for the holidays and more messages
pile up for days, and AT&T kicks me off their server. I
do love and learn so much from the various music e-
lists, but it's tough to keep up this time of year!

Anyway, may I suggest that any of you who do any web
searching at all go to www.copernic.com and download
their free version of Copernic 2000. Select the
advanced functions and include the UK web when
prompted. It checks over a dozen other engines, allows
you to formulate your search, save and manipulate your
results in more sophisticated ways than I have seen
anywhere else. It routinely finds results no other
engine I try finds, and it also has very good filters to
weed out junk results (although there will always be a
few of those). Everyone I know who uses this site raves
about it.

The happiest of holidays to you all, and lots of
wonderful singing in the new year!
