How does your friend's smoking affect you? Surely you
don't go over to her house or anything like that... if
you meet her in other places, and if she is thoughtful
enough not to smoke around you or to do so only
outdoors and downwind, does it negatively impact your
singing?

As for the pianists, I don't find it at all amusing
that people you consider your friends would smoke
around you and expect you to put up with it. Stand up
for yourself! Have you ever spent two or three months
smoke-free, to know what your voice could be without
the damage of secondhand smoke? I would be worried,
if I were you...
