thanks for the info. it sounds like an upcoming possibility (i made a
trip to gateway today).

what about putting a mirror on the music rack next to whatever you're
playing? you could angle it so that you could see the monitor in the
reflection (just pretend your reading it in hebrew). you could tape
something like cardboard to the back to help with the angling. or, if the
monitor is on the piano, you could get the mirror positioned with the student
or, the student holding it, etc. (i don't think having the student wearing a
aluminum foil suit would help, especially if it were wrong side out).
