Was it Lloyd who spoke of singing with warm, moist air? That idea really
stayed with me, and this week, while practicing for my upcoming Messiah, I
applied the concept to a long phrase in Come Unto Him that I wanted to do in
one breath. I always used to have to take a breath after the word "meek"
toward the end of the piece in the ascending phrase "for he is meek and
lowly of heart". I suddenly found it very easy to do in one breath!
