Probably yes, but the first tenor aria in the St. John's Passion really
blows me away (he's singing about the suffering of Jesus, I think it's
the first one anyway). One night I heard Barry Banks absolutely nail
that aria. By the time he finished the audience was completely silent
and the group I was with was stunned. That was probably the best
single performance I've ever heard.

Yes, but very high! I don't see how a tenor can sustain that.
