Oops, I forgot 'h' as it should be included with 'o' and 'r'. I mean chiefly
reciting the alphabet or singing the alphabet song (I work with kids), although
in the actual singing of songs, some of the letters when sung contain the 'e'
sound.

In my work with kids, developing proper diction in singing letter combinations,
I do stress the vertical lifting of the 'e' sound in conjunction with singing.
