Well, I've never actually seen the production on
video, only heard on record (and in the theatre too!)
Valerie was also a wonderful Gilda, Mimi, Manon, and
Mabel in Pirates too. A really consummate artist (and
I use the word advisedly!) Angela Gheorgiu (or however
you pronounce/spell it: not bothered as she doesn't
bother me any!) should look to her laurels methinks!!
