I believe I can summarize our previous discussions on this subject. The answer is no, except that the time spent doing the extra work above basic good fitness would perhaps be better spent singing. You do have to be careful of two things:
healthy, relaxed breathing during the exercises. Avoid bad habits which can carry over into singing time and avoid actually damaging the vocal mechanism by breath holding and grunting.
don't use the extra strength you have when singing. You will need to concentrate on relaxed abdominals more than if you were underfit and needed energizing.
