Subject:  Re: Older students/school advice (Rome Festival Opera)

Before considering this program (don't confuse this with the
Operafestival di Roma; see their webpage) I would read some of the
comments listed in the classicalsinger.com webpage. These comments
are also accessible by searching on the internet under the phrase
"Rome Festival Opera."

needs you to perform in a professional level performance for which
he/she bears artistic responsibility. You need an opera performance
opportunity suitable for your voice for which a skilled teacher of
performers can prepare you. The initial performance opportunity
should
have a lighter responsibility, i.e. ensemble, understudy, very small
role.
