Does anyone know of any jazz literature for mezzo and trumpet?  Any suggestions you have would be great!  Thanks in advance...

Bill, I have performed a recital with a classical guitarist and will offer
some suggestions based on that recital and the research I did for
it.  Here's the info:

English Renaissance Songs, ed. Benko - medium voice, guitar
Belles Deesses, Jean-Baptiste Besard - medium voice, guitar (baroque)
Gitarrelieder, Carl Maria von Weber - medium voice, guitar (19th)

Vogelweide, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco - baritone, guitar (20th)
No quiero tus avellanas, Jesus Guridi - medium voice, guitar (20th)

Rock n' Roll Session, Irwin Heilner - baritone, electric guitar (20th)

Others you might be interested in:

Drei Lieder, Franz Joseph Haydn - medium voice, guitar (18th)
Drei Adventlieder, Franz Burkhart - medium voice, oboe, guitar (20th)
Four Songs, John Beckwith - baritone, guitar (20th)
Tell Me Where Fancy Is Bred, Elliot Carter - medium voice, guitar (20th)
Funf Lieder, Paul Dessau - low voice, guitar (20th)
Cantares, Roberto Gerhard - medium voice, guitar (20th)
Epilog, Martin Christoph Redel - baritone, guitar, alto flute (20th)
Folias canarias, Joaquin Rodrigo - medium voice, guitar (20th)

Believe or not, you can also find Schubert and Brahms arranged for guitar
(I believe Schubert, as well as Mozart, may have a couple of original
pieces for voice and guitar, but alas, they are for high voice, as is
Handel's No se emendera jamas.)  Someone also recommended Castelnuovo-
Tedesco's Divan of Moses... - that is for soprano only.  In your research,
you will find an enourmous amount of repertoire for high voice and
guitar.
