Zinc - the Cold-Eeze's don't taste bad at all.
Gargle faithfully with salt water, about a tsp in 8 oz of warm water
Also try spritzing nasally with something like Ocean - simple saline
solution. When in dire straits, I've even irrigated my nose with home-made
saline. Sea salt is supposed to be better.
Also, for me, something ant-inflammatory seems to help.
Also...AFFIRMATIONS!!!

Good luck!

Subject: [vocalist-temporary] Sore Throat - Need Help!

Hi Gang,

Oh how I wish I could get at those archives! I have the worst sore throat.
It started this evening and now (almost 4am) I woke up in the middle of the
night and it's really bad (maybe even tickling into my ears?). Luckily, I
don't have any critical singing to do, but I am going out of town on a
special happy-anniversary weekend with my boyfriend tomorrow and I don't
want to feel icky. I've already mega-dosed on Echanacea and Vitamin C.

Can any of you recommend sore throat remedies that will work fast? Many
have been posted in the past and I always told myself I would look them up
when/if I needed them. Argh...

THANKS!
Jessica
