Subject:  To be a book or to be a CD. That's Amazon's question!

Carol asked:

"Please tell me where I can purchase Seth Rigg's book "Singing For THe
Stars". '

I got mine from Amazon. Depending on what country you live in, it may be a
problem, though.

In Brazil, imported CDs have a 60% importation tax, but books are completely
tax-free. Although Amazon catalogs Seth's as a book, they sent it to me
described on the package as a CD only, so I had to pay that 60% tax. I sent
them an e-mail complaining about it and asking for a shopping bonus
corresponding to what I had paid extra. They said they had nothing to do
with local laws and that they had identified the book as it really was, that
is, a CD!

I replied saying a book is a book and a CD is a CD, and a book with a CD
enclosed and described as a BOOK in Amazon's site is, doubtlessly, a BOOK.
They replied and said something like: "Sorry, but the company can't lie." I,
of course, sent an infuriated msg telling them to read books before selling
them. They never replied!

Bye ( and take care ),
