hans werner henze's 'el cimmaron' is for baritone, flute, guitar and
percussion. it is at least 45 min. long and may actually be very difficult
to play. there used to be a recording with william pearson, karlheinz
zoeller, stomu yamashta and i forget the guitarist's name (he is cuban as i
remember). it may be difficult to get a recording and the score. in fact,
just forget i said anything.
