kevin,

ermanno wolf-ferrari's 'the secret of susanna' (i hope i remebered that
correctly) is for soprano and baritone and could be done with piano. it is
about 45-50 minutes long. it is a comedy and the music is very turn of the
century italian. the singing doesn't present any extreme challenges of
range (G top for soprano or maybe Ab and no more than F top for the
baritone). maria chiara was on one of the recordings i had, bernd weikl and
renato bruson were the baritones i think and i can't remember the other
soprano.
