There is a composer, Chen Yi, who has been composer-in-residence for the
Women's Philharmonic in San Francisco & Chanticleer. Her compositions for
Chanticleer were of 8th-9th century Chinese poetry. Of course, these are
choral settings but if you use this info to do an Internet search it
might lead you to a publisher offering some solo settings.
