Jennifer - I JUST had this same experience. I have
sung in live rooms before, but at an audition on
Tuesday, I went into a warm-up room which was
extremely dead. Then I went into the room where the
auditions were and the first sounds out of my mouth
scared me, because they echoed so much. The problem I
have with live rooms is I am always trying to pull
back to accomodate the room. I don't want to hurt
anyone with these loud, echoing notes. So, needless
to say, the audition didn't go as well as planned. I
need to come up with a plan for this possibility in
the future.
