It sure is! By using the soft ware that comes with Garyth Nair's book, you can
see a real time spectral analysis of your voice as you are singing. You can
also
record a passage and play it back where a cursor moves through the spectrogram
indicating the exact point you are hearing through the speakers. There is also
the option of using the power spectrum (also in real time) which will plot out
your sound in an X/Y graph format where the x-axis shows frequency and the
y-axis
shows amplitude. As I said in an earlier post lots of fun to play with even if
you don't have the book!
