Oh, maybe for one voice alone it is too narrow, but with an ensemble, that
would open up more repertoire possibilities. Just as I was reading your
post, an excerpt from Ariadne auf Naxos came into my head. Remember when the
helden tenor Bacchus enters singing about the enchantress Circe? When he
first sees Ariade, he thinks perhaps she is Circe -- that scene could be a
part of your thematic compilation.
