So far I have Schubert's "Du bist die Ruh." It's not a Catholic wedding, so
"Ave Maria" is out.>>

The Call or Love Bade Me Welcome from Vaughn Williams 5 Mystical Songs?

BTW, I got a coupla songs to sing for a wedding in November - a duet with a
tenor (great singer!) and I'm gagging. One of the songs is "I finally found
someone" and while the lyrics for most of the song aren't bad, the middle
section is something like,

Tenor: I love your hair
Me: oh does it look all right?
Tenor: I love what you wear --
Me: Are you sure it's not too tight?

ACK ACK ACK. I vote that we cut it or find new words -- Erich thinks I
should just wear my fall and spandex.

you something else you do not know already, especially about yourself.
Conversely, pride and arrogance close the door of the mind."
