Perhaps you might want to have a look at this website
It lists a range of international competitions, many of hte quite
prestigious, with varying ages

The site is called the World Federation of International Music
Competitions

http://www.wfimc.org/index_e.html

The search years run up to 2004 so you should find something that suits
you :)

eg
International Musical Competition
Queen Elisabeth of Belgium
Opera Oratorio Lied
Age limitations:
Born after
January 15, 1968

Again, I'm unsure of the companies varying requirements (age, fach etc)
but you may want to try these companies out to see if they would be
willing to hear you. Afterall, if you don't try, you'll never know
and you may be depriving the companies of hearing your unique and
magnificent voice! Ultimately, i'd like to think that if that is the
voice they need, they'll put aside the age consideration!

Anyway I hope you find this of use.
