Dear Lisa-Marie and Vocalist:
Interesting structure for an interview situation. I'm not sure I like it. 10 minutes is not very much time to work. I used to give 15-minute "mini-lessons" for a high school choral festival, and it felt so frantic.
After the first year of doing this, I realized that my teaching method had to be streamlined or I wasn't going to be able to take the stress! I hit on the solution of watching and listening for 1 thing to zero in on and work with for the short duration of the session. So you might think about that and try it. 1 thing, 1 idea that you have to contribute from your perspective, 1 suggestion that the student could then think about and try later. "KIS"--keep it simple.
Good luck!
