i am curious to know how many of you have ever worked on singing a
'glide' from lowest to highest or, vice versa, in your range with no breaks
at a constant volume. i was first introduced to this in high school by a
student of jon humphrey and i believe, if i am not mistaken, he picked it up
from oren brown. i have seen it discussed in several other places recently,
jerome hines' 'the four voices of man', mark baxter's 'the rock and roll
singer's survival manual' and gillyanne kayes' 'singing and the actor'.
